Celestial Incandescence by cosmicbound Celestial Incandescence by cosmicbound
Incandescent the celestial shines, everlit by the most consistent of flames - pure energy bound only by the transcendental enigmas that pervade all reality. Indifferent in grandeur, the celestial bodies continue on in motion, as with all elements - enslaved to the stars - bound to celestial incandescence.

Ye, a new piece. Enjoy if ye so wish!

The things about "Who are We?" continue on and on for rather a longest time, in history - Why did humans even wish to come clear about their games on Earth and start to venture into the "absolutely unknowable?"

That's stunning and breathtaking, and I am in awe. It feels like I'm there...
I particularly like the painterly feel and the myriad of colours used.
I think you've just illustrated heaven :)

Well, resampling parts of the image was used to mould form, so maybe that's how the patterns your keen eyes picked up formed. ;D

Really neat bro, Could you divulge: how to get them, quite frankly, sexy textures in your nebula, thats something i have not been able to achieve myself.

Great work!

If you mean that nice sense of detail, then "it's due to my new starfield. It basically involves layering many different scales of the usual varied noise starfield."

I want whatever texture you've used to give it that gorgeous matte feeling. It's so different to your usual sort of glossy space scenes and I adore it.

Well, thanks. But it isn't really due to a texture, it's due to my new starfield. It basically involves layering many different scales of the usual varied noise starfield.

the colours are perfect, also the whole composition is great, only the big white outline of the smaller planet is too strong i think

Love the space, but the planet's neon brightness doesn't seem to fit with the more realistic muted colours of the background. Plus whilst your composition is getting there (the focal planet is on the third, I see :)) the placement of the other two planets doesn't really balance out the image, and it feels like there's something missing in the foreground on the left side of the image - and the nebula doesn't work because it's very suitably hapdash, as it ought to be. Plus, whilst the top image gives off the impression that it's well framed, because of the placement of the elements, the way the large planet is half in the image and half out exacerbates the bottom's formless style. I sincerely doubt you're planning to change anything in the image, and it's a wonderful technical execution, but there's a couple of artistic niggles I have with the work that prevent this from becoming incredible in my mind.

Enjoying well sir!

Seriously, the way the colors blend and flow together makes this piece beautiful. To me, it has a sleepy, almost relaxed feeling to it, which works really well. Keep it up.

Once again, you make something that is desktop worthy just so I can stare at is for as long as I can. Print! Please! When I have the money...

Also, for some reason, I'm seeing concentric circles just right of center-top. Is this intentional? It seems to center around that red star just outside of the nebula as if it's bending light with gravity.

Glad it could grab your attention! And ye, the print is being submitted now.

Nicely spotted, too. It was actually unintended, but I see now that it's actually a welcome subtlety. Another thing you might want to see if you stare at the piece - the closest apparent planet at the bottom left isn't an actual perfect circle. This also makes sense, as I'm sure you know - it works quite well I think.
